Catnip Trap

Jenn of GardenStamp.com in Frederick, MD, shared these five pictures "from my adventure in exploiting my neighbors' cats. I adore animals and thought it might be fun to plant some fresh nip in the garden. Best few dollars I spent last summer. Neighbors' cats hung around all day like

drunken scarecrows, enjoy themselves and keeping the birds away. The orange cat's name is Thistle. The calico is Soca. No clue what the black one's
name is or who her owner might be. We call her Cat Woman."

The Wise Cat and the Mad Gardener

Marie Hélène Visconti originally posted this on Google+. It is of her neighbor's hired gardener working on a very hot August day, watched by a village cat from his shady vantage point. Marie lives in Paris and is a painter and a writer. She says, " l love to cook, garden, read, entertain, arts & culture."

Cat Collector

I stumbled upon this collection of Cats in Gardens photos the other day while doing an unrelated Google search and had to share this album.

The photographers account is named "Gotta Garden" and there are scant details on the photos themselves. This orange cat, Ginger, is featured in a few of the fabulous pics. If any knows Ginger or her owner, please tell them to be in touch. We'd love to learn more about them.
