Fence Sitters

Another terrific submission from Patty Hankins of Fine Art Floral Photography (

She writes, "I thought it was the best garden fence I've ever seen -- at the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens in the Children's Garden."

I love the way the Bleeding Heart flowers drape and surround the whole thing without obscuring those cute cat silhouettes.

Cozy Kitty

This beautiful cat was seen in the front garden of a rowhouse on the Capitol Hill Restoration Society House & Garden Tour 2014 last weekend in Washington,DC.

Her name is "Cozi" short for Cosette as she comes from a family of Francophiles. She was very friendly and let me take her photo and give her several chin-rubs.
