Connie Hilker of Hartwood Roses in Fredericksburg, VA, USA, shared these photos of Alice and Dorothy. She wrote, "They are littermates. Steve and I adopted them from PetsMart in August 2010 when they were approximately 12 weeks old. I liked Alice best, Steve was partial to Dorothy, so we compromised and brought both of them home. Adopting two kittens at once is our best decision ever, and I highly recommend it as a never-ending source of joy and entertainment."
"They are named after Alice in Wonderland and Dorothy of Oz, because both characters are brave girls. Alice and Dorothy are indoor-only cats. Their garden is experienced from a distance while sitting on their windowsills. Cut flowers and plant orders provide an indoor garden for them, but not too often because Alice is fond of snacking on the leaves, especially rose leaves."
