While speaking at FarWest in Portland, OR, and attending the annual GardenComm meeting in conjunction with it, I encountered a few cats. See my previous post about Remy here.
We also visited a flower farm and met Declan. He is pictured above and just below. He was a real sweetie and let several people pet him and stuck around during the flower arranging demo as well. Our hosts at the Crowley House Flower Farm & Nursery in Rickreall, OR, were very gracious and welcoming. We had a wonderful visit.
The kittens pictured below are from Little Critter Rescue. What a treat to play and destress with puppies and kittens on a tradeshow floor during FarWest -- and a great way to get some more animals adopted! I wish all tradeshows did this.
